Wow! the image with the bottle!...amazing (It's hard for me to beleive that was rendered in Autocad!). The other image is neat, clean... a little "toon-atmosphere" but nice!...the landscape remembers me the accurender module for autocad. Very good piece of work my friend!
You're a PRO man!
Nice Work! I've used AutoCad to render for quite a while. If you use the right settings, you can get pretty good results. Here are a couple that I did using AutoCad to render with a little post production work.
hahaha! Paul I have a similar situation right now with "my creatures" (a pair of Schnauzers in my bed at this moment and having the same kind of problems while typing)...And I Think the same! and Autocad's render engine is still way behind mental ray or Vray and also veeerrrryyyyy slooooooowwww!!!!...although I usually model in Autocad and perform the file link with Max in order to work with the textures, illumination, etc...the thing here is that my former clients were very "stingy" and didn't deserve it...hahaha!
autocad has gotten much better for rendering (as your results show), but it still has a long way to go. the integration of mental ray and max functionality does help as a learning tool. i'm typing this with one finger and two cats on my lap.
