It's a nice and clean render, other than that tree in the middle.
Really like the corten steel material. Not sure what type of bldg this is, I'd assume a civic bldg? school?
Hi, thank you for all your posts! the metal is "corten steel" it is very used in north of spain. I have done this illustration in one night, in a very short time. You are right this is between conceptual and real. I am used to create illustrations like this, i would like to make more real pictures, i am working on it. Regards. JB
i think this kind of style is just right for the purpose! i mean architectural competitions are more for selling a feeling of the building and a certain mood, and not for wasting 100h of precious time on photoreal imagery. most of us or our clients can´t afford that, and no mir or luxigon either. ;-) i think the image nailed that quite good! but this is just my two cents and experience from working on many competitions back here in austria... which half of the time are won by projects absolutely gruesome visualized, so maybe we are doing all this for ourselfes and our egos, i mean to produce nice and shiny competition renderings. of course you can´t help to sell an otherwise bad planned project with just imagery, so that might be the crux. not that i would say that´s the case with your project though, because i like it also architecture wise. cheers, christoph.

agreed with Aleka about the trees and the people. the rustic metal is just awesome. thanks 4 sharing! ~cheers!
Very nice! Your rusty metal is very good! I think you should work a little more on your people and I prefer the tree with no transparecy. Right now the image is half way between conceptual and real. Cheers!
