Not bad at all for a first render. Still better than my 10th, 11th and 12th render :) and yup, the feeling is still there . Nice look.
Many thanks. I think it was Degas who said that painting is easy when you start, but once you decide to do it seriously, it becomes very hard. I think the same is with CG. In my (short) experience the best way to get a good render is using HDRi for lighting. It's crucial and the effects are magical. And good materials.
