Wow, I used to mock people who produced renders using Archicad (because I could tell they were done in Archicad!) but these are very impressive. Great use of light (and shadow),colour and texturing. Well Done.

Blender, ArchiCAD, Octane Render, Photoshop

Hello, this is my first both post and gallery entry on the forum so I would like to warmly greet everyone.

I submit a few images I've been working on for the last few months. It's my graduation project on architectural studies. Images show a concepts of conference centre and government building planned in one of the cities in Poland.

I didn't really had much experience in archviz type of artworks when I was starting, so I wanted to try playing with different mood, daytime, and see what I can get. Hope it looks good and You'll enjoy watching :)

And the technical issues:
Basic building mesh was modelled and exported from ArchiCAD, all other stuff I made in Blender. Renders were done in Octane, and had quite a lot of post-process in Photoshop. Base resolution was something round 3k px X 2k px because the images were going to be printed in large format. Scenes had from 5 to 7 milion of tris, depending from the view. GPU used for rendering - GTX 280 and GTX 460 with +- 1700 and 2000MB of ram.
