I like the style of the final still image, besides I think you can see the tilt shift camera effect way too often nowadays. Anyway, my clients ask for this as well. So we made 2 movies with the same effect. The animation could need some tweaking. Not all camera moves work out and especially without music it´s quite obviously that the cuts doesn´t match.
Oh how many time did u spent doing this ? BTW. Its sooo nice! I like everything and the video needs some good music :)
GREAT WORK!!!... Love it!...
I love the effect that the flat plexiglass or glass panels also refract light, having some noisy reflections, that makes is superrealistic. How could you do that, is that a simple noise refraction map? please tell me :)
Almost correct. There is a noise-map in the bump-slot of the glass material. It has only a very small value so that it only slightly "deforms" the glass-surface.

Nice job Tom. The only thing I would to refer is that a little slower cameras would give more luxury feeling.
The original cameras were slower, but we had to recalculate the final movie to 30fps because the camera-movement made made stuttering at 25fps visible. So we tried to compensate for that without rerendering the whole animation. But in general you are right...the movement should be slower :)

looks almost uber real! (i mean the glass and the stills of the model) looks good think the tilt shift really helps to separate it from the rest! (other render i mean...) really nice work guys!!!
Stunning ;- ) I love tilt-shift
were u trying to make it look like a toy model or ? because if you were amazing!
That was, what i meant with tilt-shift-look. We tried to make it look like a miniature to experiment with a new look and some new techniques. It also helped to compensate for some shortcommings ;)
