The AO pass might help, but I think the softness of the render is what makes it good. Also, the vase shot is good, but something should be holding the plant in the vase, like water or rocks or something. Great stuff though!

Very nice mode and lighting.
If you haven't already, give ambient occlusion a try on that first image. I can't help but feel like a little bit of something is missing in the shade and shadow department.
The close-up of the flower vase is exceptional.
