Hi there, [FONT=Arial][SIZE=2] [/SIZE][/FONT] Thanks Thanasis, Yeah, the intent was never to create a bulging appearance in the red metal. This is heavy Aluca Bond so it will never oil can. I think the bulging look is due the way I have the reflectance map set up. See the tree line in the window reflection. That is what is roughly reflected in the lower two red panels on each side of the building. I think I need to revisit that to resolve the issue. The plant composition could be better. Aaron
Nice render. The building is great - especially the panels with the bump to simulate air pressure. To improve, I'd focus on the pavement and sidewalk. Consider adding a dirt/grime pass to get that extra edge of detail and realism.
The image is nice. I disagree with the etalbond air pressure feeling, because this not how these are structured in real life and I recommend to check your montagues (people & plants) because these give the image an unreal feeling.
[FONT=Arial][SIZE=2]Thanks Wrender, The bump or bulge you are referring to is really just the metal panels reflecting the image I am using in the reflectance channel. If I take out the reflectance image, the panels would all look like the ones it the top. I like it as well but most think it is a due to a modeling mistake. And you are correct about the pavement.
