Loving it. Really appreciate that you're posting before and after images too. To be ridiculously picky there are some tiling artefacts in your textures but since they're not in focus it doesn't really matter. I'm usually not a fan of these old style images but I really dig yours.
Thank you for your kind words, really good that you picked up on these errors, I must correct these artefacts in the future, although it's not in focus, it's always good to correct these things. Well spotted Thank you very much Pedro Fernandes

I promise that as soon as I get the time I will be sure to make a making of, even if its simple. Pixel Flakes is a master at those tutorials, really simple and straight forward, creating great images. I would like to send a big shout out to him!

Good to see the original render along with the finished project.
Nice work and good integration with PS. As far as 3d vs PS goes, whatever gets the job done to the clients satisfaction and your time frame is the one to use.
