Home for the boca del rio philharmonic orchestra, in the recent years, the city of veracruz in mexico has become a place for musical and cultural expressions. the masterplan developed by rojkind arquitectos, seeks to regenerate the deteriorating urban area and construct a concert hall situated right by the coast. the plot; rich with local history and with plenty of potential, is located by the estuary of a river.referencing the rip raps seen in the breakwater and reinterpreting this as a structural form, the expansive structure takes shape as rising concrete cubes.
