City Archway

City Mega Archway

Southbank by Beulah

Living in the visual world equals all possibilities and makes no such thing impossible. Unbuilt architecture, although doesn’t mark physical impact yet still maintain the power of obsessing viewers. Visual language has no borderline, it distinguishes no nation and requires no verbal understanding. The desire caused by unbuilt architecture imagery is raising the question “what if?”
I have always found it intriguing in seeing unbuilt visualization artwork and wonder who the visualizer is, if not the translator, whose ability is spreading the message from one mind to another, not by alphabet characters but colour palette, in photoshop or 3dsmax :”)
Southbank by Beulah was a chance for me to ask ‘what if’ the chance of shaping Melbourne skyline is mine. Seeing the heavy density development in the future would become a giant wall, City Mega Archway sacrifices the openness the area is missing, giving back the emptiness to break the discontinuation from the visual connection between two sides of the Yarra River.
