House Below

I am happy to share a new project for a house located in Rogaland county, Norway.

The goal was to design and visualize a living space that is well incorporated into the existing landscape. The house is meant to be both dark and bright, minimalistic and organic, as well as warm and cold.

The dark interior space with large windows surrounded by cliffs, rocks, and a forest creates a striking contrast between man-made architecture and the natural landscape, yet it manages to blend them together harmoniously. The materials used are mostly dark wood and stone with colored details.

A skylight positioned above the cliffs and rocks serves as a beautiful way to introduce natural light that flows into the interior, fostering a serene and tranquil atmosphere, perfect for contemplation and thinking. After dusk, the cliffs outside are illuminated with outdoor lights in the desired color tone, creating a captivating interior ambiance.
