ABOUT ME

I am a 3D Artist with over 7 years’ experience with 3d modeling and rendering, which I have successfully showcased for companies in Canada, United States and Mexico.
These previous experiences honed my technical skills, as well as my ability to work in a team environment. 
These are some of my favorite projects done for the Manufacturing, Retail and Video Game Industries.

WORK EXPERIENCE

- Senior 3D Artist
Safyre Labs (Jewlr, Lee Fiori, ONE+ONLY) Toronto Ontario, Canada
February 2019 – June 2023

• Created 3D product renders such as rings, pendants, bracelets, and earrings used for
the company’s website and marketing ads on social media.
• Worked with the design team to determine optimal views and angles to highlight the
product features and selling points.
• Composed lighting environments for new product launches to ensure the collection had consistent look.
• Organized and imported new 3d renders to the product library and continuously tested for proper filename structure for accurate website visualization.
• Populated the library of new gemstones and metal materials.
• Made tile and unique textures, for different metal and leather looks and finishes using
different maps such as Diffuse, Roughness, Bump and Displacement in Keyshot.
• Matched perspective and lightning to create image composites to show product renders on photographed models.
• Made tutorials for new 3d Renderers on the company’s that showed the rendering
process and guidelines.


- 3D Graphic Designer

August 2014 – February 2018

• Designed all marketing material including product catalogs, posters, banners, brochures,
fliers, and videos using Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects)
• Used 3ds Max and V-Ray to create realistic 3D renderings to highlight product features and applications.
• Updated the company’s website using WordPress.
• Promoted Dorian Tool products through social media and e-mail marketing.
• Adapted marketing material for domestic and international trade shows for the company and its affiliates.
• Initiated a project to make 3D animations to show product features and to aid technical support using 3ds Max and After Effects.
• Shot photographs of Dorian Tool products for distributor's websites.
• Prepared, quoted, and ordered flyers and catalogs for mass printing.


- 3D-Artist
CGBot Mexico, Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico
August 2009 - March 2013

• Used 3ds Max to model high and low-polygon props and environments that followed the project’s style and art direction, for different gaming consoles, including Nintendo Wii, Sony PlayStation, Microsoft Xbox, PC and Mobile games.
• Baked normal and ambient occlusion maps.
• Created free-hand, cartoon, and next-gen texturing with Adobe Photoshop.
• Rendered objects for apps and online games.
• Animated inorganic 3d models.
• Collected, organized, and supervised 3D models, textures, and environments for groups of five or more teammates before presenting results to customers.
• Elected Team Leader to supervise a group of ten 3D artists, to delegate tasks and
evaluate the outcome for RSI's Squadron '42 project.
