G'day everyone :)
Thought i might try posting this here, as im very keen to learn, grow and evolve my skills as a 3D artist, so i hope this is a good place to start.
Ive been working as a 3D artist now for a few years, but focusing on being a modelling artist, with very little to no lighting, texturing, rendering, compositing, etc experience of any sort (i actually REALLY enjoy the modelling aspect of 3D art :)).
But on Friday afternoon, my boss told me he wants to see an external image of this concept townhouse package that he had me working on, so i only had the weekend to play with it. (i didnt have access to the net or any library for textures/trees, so i had to create everything you see here, hence why the image looks so bare)
I know every aspect of this image has plenty of room to improve, im more after info on where i can go to learn how to improve on different areas, theres so much info out there, alot out dated, and alot of different views. I know alot of it will come down to me and what i think and like, but all help, feedback and comments are welcome.
Ive already found a very nice grass tut by Perter Guthrie, so hopefully plenty more out there!
