Located in the Bachoura district, the renovation of Saint Georges Church intends to bring back a community that was forced to flee this area due to the Lebanese Civil War.
Positioned in the middle of the site, the church opens up to the main plaza of Beirut Digital District bounded by two office buildings on either side and placed above six basement floors which are connected underneath for parking.
Built in 1878, the reconstruction of this monument reinforces the heritage of the past and brings hope to a young postwar generation for peace and reconciliation in this region and to face the challenges of the future.
