Mt Cardrona Station

Situated midway between Wanaka and Queenstown, Mt Cardrona Station is an elegant village precinct in the picturesque Cardrona high country. One to One Hundred was commissioned by Morton Property to develop a collection of renders showcasing the proposed house types, along with an animation highlighting The Homestead. Serving as the central hub of the community, The Homestead offers a range of resort-style facilities overlooking a tranquil tarn, where residents and guests can enjoy the amenities of a restaurant, gym, clubhouse, and pool.

The animation is not only distinguished by its visual quality and well-crafted narrative but also by its meticulous attention to detail. Every aspect of the landscape was painstakingly rendered in 3D, ensuring a cohesive and authentic depiction. This approach provided the added advantage of allowing us to select the ideal time of day for each camera angle, a feat that would have been challenging to achieve through conventional background photography.

The result is an animation that encapsulates the essence of Mt Cardrona Station, presenting a captivating vision of the proposed development. With its seamless integration of the landscape, refined aesthetics, and thoughtful camera choices, the animation showcases the inherent beauty and allure of this high country community.
