Anttinen Oiva Architects’s first stage competition proposal repositions the Helsinki-based Eliel Square, the city’s busiest spot, as a well-functioning and clear public space. While ensuring that the building volumes match the character of the place, the architecture firm also placed emphasis on creating safer street configurations for pedestrians and cyclists.
To support their concept, we crafted a bundle of images that highlight the accessible and distinctly urban character of the design.
