As an Architectural Visualization Artist, you will play a key role in supporting our design team in creating stunning visual representations of our architectural designs and projects. Under the guidance of senior team members, you will assist in tasks such as 3D modelling, rendering, animation, and post-production, while actively learning and developing your skills in architectural visualisation software and techniques. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative individual with a passion for architecture and visualisation to gain valuable experience and grow in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

As an Architectural Visualisation Artist
  • Assist in 3D Modelling: Support the creation of 3D models of architectural designs using software such as V-Ray, Unreal Engine, or Blender, based on provided sketches, drawings, or reference materials.
  • Support Rendering Process: Assist in setting up materials, textures, lighting, and camera angles within the 3D scene to facilitate the rendering process and achieve desired visual effects.
  • Contribute to Animation: Assist in creating basic animations of architectural designs, such as walkthroughs or flyovers, by setting keyframes and adjusting parameters to animate objects and camera movements.
  • Assist with Post-Production: Support post-production tasks such as compositing, colour correction, and adding special effects to enhance the final visualisations, under the direction of senior team members.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other members of the team, architects, and clients to understand project requirements, provide updates on progress, and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
  • Adhere to Quality Standards: Ensure that work meets quality standards and follows project specifications, while seeking feedback and guidance from senior team members to improve output.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in 3D rendering software such as V-Ray, Unreal Engine, Blender, or similar.
  • Basic understanding of rendering techniques, lighting, and camera setup.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Previous experience or coursework in architectural visualisation is a plus, but not required.
  • You will need to provide a design portfolio as part of your application. Please make sure your cgarchitect profile is up-to-date and showcases your latest projects for us to review.
