About Dan Cross

Owner @ Cross Studio Dan graduated from Des Moines Area Community College with a diploma in Architectural Technologies in 1999. Since then he has worked as a structural drafter for a local engineering and architecture firm for about 8 years, then as the director of graphics at another architecture firm for about 9 1/2 years. Currently Dan is the owner and operator of Cross Studio. At Cross Studio, Dan builds 3D models, renders animations, produces advertisements and marketing materials, takes architectural photographs and personal portrait/family photographs, illustrates plans and building elevations by hand using a Wacom Cintiq and also builds and maintains the Cross Studio website. When Dan isn't working or painting he is outdoors riding bikes, roaming the countryside in his Jeep taking photographs and enjoying time with his family.
