About Jessica Barajas

I am a college- graduate with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Mexico (I have my educational credential assesment created by the University of Toronto). I have over five years of proven office experience in the Architectural field in Mexico. Also, I had the opportunity to assist in the completion of a medium- sized residential building in Bali, Indonesia. In addition to this, I have worked as a 3D Architectural Visualizer for 2 and half years, of which I have worked for a year and a half in Canada. Regarding my work experience in Canada, I worked for an architectural visualization studio Form and Sense (previously known as Neilson Digital) in Vancouver, British Columbia. During my time as a 3d Architectural Visualizer, I have honed my skills in modeling, improved my knowledge to create a better quality in my visualizations, and improved my design skills. Modeling is a crucial component of this position, as it requires a meticulous eye for detail and the ability to translate 2D drawings into 3D visualizations according to the client’s needs. I have also become skilled in creating storyboards that visually communicate design concepts and ideas. This requires a sense of storytelling and collaborating with the team to develop a cohesive narrative. The programs I frequently use are Revit, 3dsmax, Corona Render, Photoshop, Slack, In Design, Autocad, and Sketch up (last three primary- medium level). However, I am open to learning new programs if it is required. In my previous position, I collaborated with colleagues to deliver high- quality work. Sharing different perspectives, opinions, and new ways of doing things can contribute to a better job; I am enthusiastic about learning from others, I am honest, responsible, dedicated, persistent, professional, and trustworthy; those are my greatest strengths.
