Returning to our previous collaboration with BIG, Squint Opera and Myth Studios, the next phase in Bhutan’s Gelephu Mindfulness City is the finalized concept for the 2500 km2 masterplan.
Brick is proud to once again have been part of this inspiring presentation, creating the fly-through animation narrated by Bjarke Ingels, highlighting the beautiful nature and colorful culture the Kingdom of Bhutan has to offer, and the fantastic plans for its exciting future!

A modern dining experience designed to evoke a harmonious blend of natural and ambient lighting. Through a play of skylight and warm, glowing hues, the space captures an elegant yet cosy atmosphere, inviting guests into a captivating environment. We were engaged by Davy and Chapman on behalf of their client, James Hardie, to produce renders for a new look book showcasing how their claddings can be used to create different design styles. The brief asked for three renders for four unique architectural typologies.

Our team were given some reference imagery for Mid-Century, Farmhouse, Modern Heritage and Coastal, but were tasked with designing and modelling the homes using specific cladding types.

We are very proud of how distinct each style looks, and how the designs elevate the claddings as design-led products.

"Who hasn't dreamed of living forever?
If you come to Zalem, you won't know pain, hunger or even death. Zalem is the city of your dreams. To be admitted, all you have to do is fill in a health questionnaire and pay the modest sum of 77,777 dollars.
So what are you waiting for to join us...?"
That's what you read in the many advertisements for Zalem, but in reality the mysterious city of Zalem was a mirage, a gigantic organ trafficking network. The health questionnaire was used to determine the compatibility of future recipients.
Once you were accepted, you were transported to a secret location where you were killed in order to recover your organs.
An AI took your place on the social networks and continued to publish content to make it look like you were still alive.
Zalem was actually three huge towers located in a secret place to store the many servers that AIs need to continue producing elements.
What we do know is that they are still in use and that these towers were covered in photosensitive fibre sheets and sensitive to the kinetic energy of the wind in order to power their energy needs.
